Technical terms used throughout our documentation.

Bounce Rate
The percentage of emails that could not be delivered. A Hard Bounce means the address doesn't exist. Keep this under 2%.
DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail)
A cryptographic signature added to your emails to prove they weren't tampered with. Learn how to set it up.
DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication)
A policy that tells receiving servers what to do if SPF or DKIM fails.
ESP (Email Service Provider)
The infrastructure sending your emails (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, SendGrid).
SPF (Sender Policy Framework)
A DNS record listing the IPs authorized to send on behalf of your domain. Use our SPF Generator.
Spam Trap
An email address used by blocklists to catch spammers. Hitting one will severely damage your reputation.
