Optimal Follow-up Cadence

The majority of replies come from follow-ups, not the initial email. But spamming a prospect every 24 hours will destroy your deliverability via spam complaints.

The Baseline Cadence (14 Days, 4 Emails)

Day Type Purpose
Day 1 Initial Email State the observation, the problem, and a soft CTA.
Day 4 Bump / Value Add "Any thoughts on this? Here is a relevant case study." (In same thread)
Day 8 New Angle Address a different pain point. (New thread or same thread)
Day 14 Break-up Email "Seems this isn't a priority right now. I'll stop reaching out."

The "Just Bubbling This Up" Sin

Never send a follow-up that provides zero additional value. "Just checking in" or "Did you see my last email?" is lazy and annoying. Always bring new information, a new perspective, or an easier CTA to the table.
